I am a Melbourne girl, who loves spending endless hours at the beach, sitting in cafes drinking coffee + reading inspiring books. I also have a passion for yoga, running, photography + sunsets. I love bright vibrant colours, the smell of fresh flowers + that feeling you get when you exercise first thing in the morning. I love stationary, highlighters + writing in journals.
I guess you could say I have always had an interest in Health and Wellness (which is why I started this blog). I spent my childhood playing sport and can remember many school swimming and athletics carnivals where I would compete in every event possible. It was what I loved. I loved being active and was always that annoying one in the team that actually liked the warm up laps!
This passion and some amazing teachers lead me to my current career as a PE + Health Teacher. I get endless joy from watching my students learn and grow as individuals, knowing that you have made a difference in someone’s life is an amazing feeling.
In saying all of this my journey as not always been smooth sailing. I have had my fair share of ups and downs and many curve balls have been thrown my way. Over the years I have learnt to overcome many obstacles, including Chronic Fatigue, food intolerances, those nagging negative feelings that keep you down, constantly pushing myself to my limits and the death of my mum.
I now feel that I am finally coming out the other side and am ready to live my best life possible, which brings me to this blog. I am hoping that my journey can inspire and motivate other people to live their best life possible. I hope to encourage others to realize that no matter what is thrown your way you can always come out the other side and more often than not in a better place than when you started.
A positive happy life got it’s name because I honestly believe that if you think positively you naturally become happy. Deep down a true sense of happiness is what many people are after.
So please follow me on this journey as I share with you all I have learnt along the way and all that I will continue to learn.
